Avram Grant
Where would we be now if he was still in charge?

Losing local derbies against Orient?

Re: Avram Grant
Our captain would effectively be the player-manager, while Avram was either visiting the local brothel, or sleeping off the effort of his last visit to the local brothel.

So it depends on who our captain was

What I do remember, with both Grant and Zola, was being happy that it wasn't Allardyce who got the job. I think his name was in the mix at both times.

IRONy!

Re: Avram Grant
What were they thinking of:

a) giving him a job, and
b) letting him keep it after he showed himself totally incapable of doing it.

I think the whole Avram debacle is still hurting us now. It's the reason we have the fat man in charge.
